Inyo National Forest Seeks Input for Mammoth Base Land Exchange

The Inyo National Forest is seeking input for the proposed Mammoth Base Land Exchange. Mammoth Lakes Ca, August 24, 2016 – The Inyo National Forest invites the  public to share their input on proposed Mammoth Base Land Exchange. Under the proposed action, 30.6 acres of land would be transferred to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (MMSA). Twelve non-Federal parcels – totaling approximately 1,317.5 acres – would be transferred to the United States, to be managed by the US Forest Service. The Oldest Continuous Running Motocross in the USA Set to Kickoff Friday in Mammoth Mammoth Ca, June 6, 2016 – Every summer racers have flocked to Mammoth Mountain for the Mammoth Motocross . It is the oldest continuous running motocross in the USA. The track has changed a little over the years, but the fun hasn’t. This year is setting up to be an epic event in the Eastern Sierra June 17-26 in Mammoth there are no shortage of great racing action and traditional Eastern Sierra Fan events to take in while visiting.
