Hazard Tree Removal along the Lake Mary Road Closes Bike Path

Inyo National Forest Urges Visitors to beware of temporary closures due to falling trees.

Starting October 21, crews will be removing hazard trees in the Lakes Basin along the Lake Mary Road. The bike path will be closed in the sections where the work is being completed. There may be temporary closures of the road (expect delays of 10-20 minutes). There will be signs to notify travelers of closures. The work is expected to continue for the next two weeks and crews will start near Lake Mary and work their way north.

Please see the attached map for more detail.

Thank you for your cooperation to help ensure your and our crews safety.
