Winter Recreation at Diamond Peak. 50 years of Beautiful Skiing!

Diamond Peak is located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, near the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, renowned restaurants, and the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America. Diamond Peak is known for amazing views, affordable prices, uncrowded slopes and a friendly atmosphere that families love.

Way back in 1966, while the community of Incline Village was still in its defining stages, Oklahoma native Art Wood envisioned a four-season resort community – a “Pebble Beach of the Sierra” – and hired Austrian ski consultant Luggi Foeger to design and build Ski Incline (as Diamond Peak was then called) as one of the pillars of that vision. After only four months of construction, Ski Incline opened its lifts in November of 1966 with a skier-friendly layout on the lower mountain of the resort. In 1987, ski resort manager Jurgen Wetzstein led the development of the upper mountain with the addition of the Crystal Quad to the top of the peak – an expansion that doubled the resort’s skiable acreage and added more advanced terrain. The addition also spurred the name change to Diamond Peak.
During the upcoming 2016-17 winter season, Diamond Peak will celebrate its golden anniversary – 50 years of skiing and snowboarding in the most beautiful setting on earth – and we are inviting our extended Diamond Peak family to help us commemorate this milestone. This season, Diamond Peak skiers can take advantage of amazing deals like Flex Pass multi day tickets with daily rates as low as $50 per day, $40 Bring Your Other Pass ticket deals, $74 daily Adult lift ticket rates ($79 on Holidays), and free lift tickets for kids 6 and under and those over 80 years old.
