Tahoe National Forest Invites Public to Kids Fishing Day at Packer Lake.
Packer Lake Ca – Are There Fish in Packer Lake? You bet! Come and find out on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 8:00am to 1:00pm for Packer Lake Kid’s Fishing Day.
There will be several fun and educational activities such as making your own fish print t-shirts. Limited fishing gear is available. Fishing limits apply and licenses are required for all 16 years old and older. Hot dogs and sodas will be available for purchase or bring a picnic lunch.
Packer Lake is located near the Gold Lakes HWY off HWy 49 and the Yuba River section of the Sierra.
To Get here: Follow CA-89 N and CA-49 S to Gold Lake Hwy in Sierra County
Follow Gold Lake Hwy to Packer Lake Rd , Turn right onto Gold Lake Hwy
Turn left onto Packer Lake Rd , Turn right to stay on Packer Lake Rd
